Connor White Final Podcast

My final podcast is about the musical career of Greg Gillis, aka Girl Talk. I discuss how Gillis got started, the controversy of is music in relation to copy right laws, and his live shows. I have clips of his music as well as interviews from fans on why he is liked. I attempted to load my podcast on podbean for the last hour or so and would not work so I have made a youtube video with one picture and my podcast is on that. I hope this is an ok substitute.

Final exam

I did my podcast on the 8 different styles of mash-up, and not just about music. I went through a description of each style, then followed by a sample of each one that I could use a sample for.

The Long Tail: Final Podcast

My final podcast in a extended discussion of the term "The Long Tail" that we covered in class. I sampled a lecture from Chris Anderson about the concept, as well as included some examples of popular music that have parallels in the long tail. I wasn't able to upload to our team's podcast website, so I created my own podcast site for this episode.

Robert Duquette's final podcast

For my final podcast I did something like the other podcasts that we did in class where we used parts of different pieces of music (fair use) and made a review show where I reviewed the music. I did it on '70s artists and why I want them to come back into the young person's view rather than just be admired by the baby boomers and then be lost forever.
